From the Front:
"I love the v12 for my snare drum, it gives me the right amount of snap, punch, and clarity without being too overbearing."
"The R22 I love using for my drum sub groups, this compressor brings out the presence in the total drum kit adding girth and clarity to the sound."
About Buss Recording:
Buss Recording was founded in 2003 and originally called "Abishai Music". Owner Mark "Abishai" Brooks says the studio is a "full service independent hybrid home studio, keeping the tradition of Home Studio recordings". He says the tradition emulates music greats such as Bob Dylan (Basement Tape), Paul McCartney (Apple Studio), and Barry Gordys (Hittsville USA, Motown). The studio is "available for all types of recording projects" including "auditions, voiceovers, demos tracks and band recordings." They provide tracking, editing, mixing music production, songwriting, composition, arrangements, orchestration, and audio classes. The two room studio "has a good vibe and energy."
Brooks has been recording for almost thirty years. He has worked with "tape, hard disk and computers". He has experience with "rock, country, jazz, funk, Latin, R&B, classic rap and classical musicians". Today, he primarily records rock music.
