Although Christopher "Czar" Smith was born in Nashville, he got his musical roots growing up in Memphis, spending his early days working for a few local studios. He started Throneholder Productions in 2000 followed by The Kremlin Studio in 2001 and specializes in working with hip-hop, R&B, pop and dance artists. Later, Czar earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in audio production from the Art Institute of Tennessee, Nashville, graduating with honors in 2011.
