From the Front:
"I usually use the R22 compressor on overheads and drum room mics. Thanks to the THRUST® function, cymbals are
never lost in the kick drum. On room mics, I use the R22 with very heavy gain reduction. I have yet to find another compressor that brings out the sound quality of my room so much.
Sometimes, I use it on the master bus when I want my overall mix to be tighter and more balanced. Occasionally, I use it on kick and snare when I am after sharp drum transients.
"I use the R24 equalizer on various sources, depending on what I want to achieve. I can get great results quickly when I use it on guitars, bass
and snare drum. It's excellent on the master stereo bus where I very often boost high frequencies quite significantly. I would describe its sound as coherent and full. It is impossible
to get anywhere near that sound using plugins. The JDK R24 is definitely one of my favorite equalizers."
